It's that time again, where Reach Cyber Charter School wants to remind families that learning with us extends far beyond the screen. This year, our collaborations with organizations and businesses across Pennsylvania are enriching students' social experiences within the Reach Cyber community while connecting families to valuable resources they may not have discovered otherwise.

These collaborations connect our virtual classrooms to real-world exploration, offering students the best of both worlds: the flexibility of online learning and the excitement of in-person discovery. Here's a look at the incredible businesses, community, and recreational centers Reach Cyber proudly collaborates with across Pennsylvania!


Ashcombe Farm and Greenhouses - Mechanicsburg, PA (Cumberland County)

Ashcombe Farm and Greenhouses is a charming, family-friendly garden center set in a peaceful country setting and has proudly served the Mechanicsburg community for over 60 years. Open daily, guests can explore colorful display gardens, enjoy a homemade meal at the Country Café, and visit the resident greenhouse cats-Pickles, Boston, Pepper, and Poppy. The greenhouse also features serene fishponds located both indoors and near the nursery parking area. Since 2024, Reach Cyber Charter School has partnered with Ashcombe to host quarterly meetups, providing students with hands-on horticulture learning experiences and sweet treats from the on-site bakery. Reach also recently participated in Ashcombe's Holiday Open House, further strengthening our connection within the community.

Greater Carbondale YMCA - Carbondale, PA (Lackawanna County)

The Greater Carbondale YMCA is more than just a gym; they're a vibrant community dedicated to helping individuals of all ages thrive. With a mission centered on youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility, the YMCA offers something for everyone, whether you're looking to stay active, connect with others, or explore new interests. The YMCA supports well-rounded growth, from a state-of-the-art fitness center to a robust aquatics programs for students and families. They even offer a variety of creative classes and meaningful community events held throughout the year. By providing childcare, youth sports, adult fitness classes, and senior programs, Reach Cyber Charter School is proud to collaborate with the Greater Carbondale YMCA to better support the diverse needs of our families while offering students fun, supportive opportunities to earn physical education hours and engage in their community alongside friends.

Carlisle Family YMCA - Carlisle, PA (Cumberland County)

The Carlisle Family YMCA is dedicated to fostering personal growth, strengthening family values, and building a healthier, more connected community through inclusive programs for all ages. Guided by its core focus on youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility, the YMCA has been a cornerstone of the Carlisle community since 1859, supporting growth in spirit, mind, and body. The YMCA offers accessible programs, along with weekly and monthly social gatherings, sports opportunities, and creative activities like craft nights. Reach Cyber Charter School is excited to collaborate with the Carlisle Family YMCA to help our students and the community thrive both physically and mentally.

Grayce Garden - Chambersburg, PA (Franklin County)

Grayce Gardens began as the owners' small herb and vegetable garden and has since grown into a vibrant greenhouse offering a wide variety of houseplants, containers, and home décor items. The space now features multiple event and learning areas, including the Garden Atrium, Garden Shed, and Garden Lounge, all designed to give students hands-on opportunities to learn about agriculture and plant life. For special occasions, guests can choose between two unique rental spaces: an enclosed historic greenhouse or a covered open-air garden lounge, each creating a magical setting year-round. Reach Cyber Charter School is proud to collaborate with Grayce Gardens to create meaningful, seasonal experiences that celebrate growth, creativity, and community.

Main St Makery - Stroudsburg, PA (Monroe County)

Main Street Makery is a locally owned, woman-operated kitchen-art studio where creativity and learning come together through hands-on classes and events. With over 50 years of generational cooking experience, the founder opened the Makery to share her passion and expertise with the community. Offering a wide variety of classes-from bread making, baking sweets, soap making, lip balms, botanical and herbal arts, cheesemaking, and more-there is truly something for everyone. Reach Cyber Charter School is excited to collaborate with Main Street Makery to provide engaging workshops, including four special cooking and baking experiences for our students that combine fun, creativity, and valuable life skills in a warm, inclusive environment.

Old Pine Community Center - Philadelphia, PA (Philadelphia County)

Since 1977, Old Pine Community Center has served as a cherished neighborhood hub dedicated to enriching the lives of its neighbors through programs and services that address food insecurity, support children and families, and promote strong community engagement. Guided by the needs of the community, Old Pine offers a wide variety of programs and events designed to meet unmet and emerging needs. Reach Cyber Charter School is excited to collaborate with Old Pine Community Center to bring STEM education programs and physical fitness activities into this welcoming space, utilizing the community hall and gymnasium to inspire learning, wellness, and togetherness for local families.

Pieces of Mind - Allentown, PA (Lehigh County)

Pieces of Mind is a welcoming community space where individuals combine social, emotional, mental, and physical wellness together in one place through valuable community resources. They offer a wide range of classes and programs, including one-day workshops, special events, and weekly or monthly activities covering topics from art and creative expression to mental and emotional well-being for ages 16 and up. Reach Cyber Charter School is excited to collaborate with Pieces of Mind to support social and emotional learning, providing students with meaningful opportunities to grow alongside passionate staff while fostering a holistic environment where academic, emotional, and personal development can thrive together.

Reach Cyber Charter School is thrilled to collaborate with The Post Ice Cream & Events , a unique destination in the heart of Scranton, PA, where handcrafted Manning's ice cream meets an unforgettable event space. This charming venue offers the perfect setting for celebrations filled with creativity and connection. We look forward to hosting joyful events where our STEM coaches and students can explore, learn, and laugh together in a fun, flavorful, and inspiring environment.
